When Professor Carter Carter turns up dead at their 15th year college reunion, detectives Corduroy and Horseläger will have to interview a varied cast of characters and save the day. As suspicions rise and the suspects grow restless, they'll have to come together to ask the questions and hopefully have the genuine Oberlin experience along the way.
Corduroy and Horseläger Save the Day is a film full of joy and whimsy that does not overstay its welcome but doesn't leave before you've become attached to the characters. The amateur camera quality, audio, and lighting sometimes give the viewer the same D.I.Y. fun feeling that was being had when the film was being created. Sometimes it just looks rough. For a film with entirely improvised dialogue, some of the jokes will inevitably fall flat, but that's a low number, and the bulk of the humor is surprisingly witty. This film has more heart than it wants to have, and less plot than it wants to have, and is the wackiest watch you can find. I highly recommend.
